Of Spell Checking,Biros and Notebooks

So little man is all about biros and writing of late and I've decided this evening I'll get him a 'rough book' and hand him a biro so that he can write or is it doodle away:D

I walk to our book shelf and guess what I come across?A little notebook with my handwriting in it,with different dates in 1996;that was Class Two for Mama Jeff.


It must have been a spelling book where I wrote random words that my mum orally dictated to me since I can see her handwriting indicating 'Excellent' and 'Very Good' next to the many 30/30's I got *harrumphs*!!

So I'm going to keep this little book as a reminder to myself that I had a mum that took time to teach me to how spell and I therefore must also do the same for little man here!

And to also show it to him when he starts spelling in those rubbishical styles I'm always complainining about (read xaxa's,xana's and xo now's);to show him that it is illegal to spell like that in this family *ahem* and therefore the excellence of this lineage must not be tarnished!I refuse!
