How do camels mate?
You sit at the ocean front, the breeze so breezy, ocean waves colliding.
The sound of the waves so familiar yet so new;breeze so cold yet the air so warm, like a blanket over your head.
Women and men on speedboats, the sound of the boat hitting against the water surface and penetrating it.The white foam that follows the boats, trying to catch up with it,but never getting to overtake it;the foam always follows the boat.
Today is my last day here-what a wonderful day to be alive.
Lovers strolling down the beach.Where is my lover?Laughter, holding hands, happiness, memories, experiences.
A camel just passed by.How do camels mate?I can't stop thinking about it.
People barefoot. It's wonderful how the sand let's you tread on it with no shoes;it calls you to remove those shoes.Foot against sand. One refreshing step after the next.
There's a guy selling deras at the far end, ridiculous prices-because of tourists.
People are giving me strange looks. Why is she writing on the beach front? Is she a beach spy? No,I'm just tipsy on my cognac, and life is beautiful, that's what I am writing about.
The camel guy brought his camel near me.He made it sit-with it's back towards me.That's not what I want to see damnit!Where is that female camel;how do camels mate?
There's this guard,I had asked him to find a socket for me in the hotel and get my phone charged. Now I'm seeing him taking a photo of a guy on the reclining beach chair.Yo!Is that my phone?
Camel guy is standing quietly in front me.I think he's trying to hint.I'm not taking a ride on your camel sir. What if it runs off into the water with me and then I'll have to live the rest of my life as a mermaid? Not today man, sorry.
I haven't read my Lisa Gardner, time's moved too quick.
I saw this wooden thing few centimeters near me.It would be a salt shaker in the next life, for now it's just a sand shaker.Had loads of sand in it.
I'm seated on my Maasai kikoi;same one I plan to cover myself with as I travel back to Nairobi tonight.I apologize in advance to you who will be seated next to me,things may get a bit sandy.
I asked the guard for my phone.I asked him if it was the one he used to get a pic of that tourist guy.He laughed. It wasn't my phone.
I have to leave;the waters are moving closer.
I'm going to English Point Marina.
