After you scream,wail,pull off hair strands and shout obscenities for 19hours straight you haven‘t a choice but to KNOW,BELIEVE and TAKE IT IN THAT you are a mom!

During delivery one often questions them that quoted "Kuzaa si kazi..kazi ni kulea"
Kuzaa si kazi??kuzaa si kazi??
When every muscle in one‘s body is in unbearable pain and the sight of the man that made sweet love to you and got you here now makes you both nauseated and infuriated how is that not kazi??
How is producing what has been growing in your belly for 9months not kazi?Did they even consider the fact that creatures that are half goat-half human have been brought forth(ok I‘ve only heard such storos in Coast) but seriously..kuzaa Ni Kazi.
Kuzaa ni kazi because getting into that labor ward and lying on that bed does not guarantee that one will emerge alive,holding a live bouncing baby!!
Kuzaa ni kazi because it is a risk..because it is not knowing what lies head of you but still daring to go through with it..
ON THE CONTRARY...as I sit here and watch babyboy playing I realise kazi pia ni kulea..
You have the power to say yes and no to and on behalf of another human being.The power for that yes and no to influence another human being for life,the power to decide where they school,go to church,what they eat,what they wear...decision making on behalf of another human being,of course to a certain level,until they get to decide for themselves,until they get to fend for themselves!!
Parenthood..a lifestyle,a journey...!!
