That slippery guy,JEFF!

My son and I are in my room(our usual chilling joint).Me,on my bed browsing on my phone;him,on the ground playing with my spectacles-which I haven't noticed..uuuntil..he hands them to me with a big grin on his face, with one handle broken off..
''Carol..vunja''(yea I'm occassionally referred to by my 1st name)

''Seriously Jeff?Really?'' I begin and burst into a feigned cry(you know......saliva applied on cheeks acting as tears, covering face, trying to guilt trip him).

Well this reaction is this light because this same spectacles have actually gone through superglue repair around three times before thanks to him so I make a mental note that it's simply time get new ones.
Anyway back to the wails. He stands there, utterly unmoved, listening to me going on about ''Niambie sorry..niambie sorry Jeff''..

Finally he turns mushy for two seconds, and remorsefully hugs me,''Sorry Jeff'' he whispers.
I turn, face bright and ready to hug him, ready to tell him he's forgiven(because I know what he means-I think),thennnn, wait for it..he does the loudest click(read NKT),gets off my bed and begins to wail-No saliva acting as tears..the real deal!
And because I don't want my mother storming into the room and giving me a tongue lashing about bullying her grandson I quickly pick him up and begin ''Jeff sorry..pole daddy'' All the while wondering did he figure I was faking a cry?Did he feel cheated? Is he that smart?Who cheated who?
And he sniffs off the tears while whispering ''sawa''.
I could swear I can see a sly smile somewhere in his face.
And so we lie down on Carol's bed, cuddled, friends again.
